Academy Ladies

We have a strong ladies Academy and make sure that every new lady golfer is supported on her journey from beginner (or a rusty returner) to full member by being allocated a Buddy. We recognise that it can be daunting starting a new sport or a new club and so run regular Academy practice sessions, meetings and competitions to allow Academy members to get to know each other, the rest of the ladies section and learn the etiquette and Rules of Golf.

Women in Golf Charter

We are thrilled to announce that as of August 2021, Addington Palace Golf Club is an approved signatory of the R&A Women in Golf Charter.

It recognises the work that we are doing in conjunction with England Golf to increase women and girls’ participation and membership in golf; to encourage more families to enjoy golf as a leisure activity; and to encourage more opportunities for women to work and volunteer in the golf industry.
